Whether you’re playing or not, we would love to see as many current and former players, friends, and family down at HSBC throughout the week to support the Club, catch up with old teammates, and enjoy some great cricket.
All matches start at 2pm on the main square at HSBC.
Did you know? Our first Cricket Week was held in 1922, featuring six matches, two evening dances, and a military band concert!
Fixtures:
Tuesday 22nd July – NBCC vs Akbar XI
Always an entertaining fixture as Akbar assembles his mysterious XI! Last year NBCC came out on top – expect fireworks as Akbar seeks revenge.
Wednesday 23rd July – NBCC vs MCC
The marquee fixture of the week. This historic biennial clash dates back to 1929, where MCC were saved by the rain after being 17-5 responding to Midland Bank's 242-4d!
Last time, MCC edged a tight rain-affected match by just 7 runs. Come down to watch high-quality cricket and support the boys against one of cricket’s great institutions.
Thursday 24th July – NBCC vs HSBC
A modern-day Cricket Week classic, with plenty of NBCC faces featuring in the HSBC team. After NBCC’s 5-wicket win last year, HSBC will be keen to level the score. Always a competitive and friendly encounter.
Friday 25th July – Past Players’ Day
New for 2025 & a day not to miss! Two teams packed with over 100,000 runs, 2,200 wickets, and nearly 2,000 catches between them – featuring some of the best to ever play at the Club.
Even if you’re not playing, come along for a drink, a bite, and a catch-up with old friends and teammates. It will be a special day full of great stories and memories.
