1st XI - 3rd July 1926 - Win vs Alleyn CC. Midland Bank 196 (SF Mills 58), Alleyn 140 (HTO Smith 4-38, TA Starling 4-36).
The Bank batted first and again made a poor start, 5 wickets being down for only 33 runs. E. A. Krarup (40) and S. F. Mills (58) came to the rescue of the side, and both played really good knocks on a rather tricky wicket. Again our tail wagged, H. F. Green (22 not out) and F. W. Phelps (20) helping to make a total of 196.
Our opponents could not cope with H. T. O. Smith (4 wickets for 38) and T. A. Starling (4 wickets for 36 runs), and were dismissed for 140.
