The Bank team made a poor start in this match, five of their wickets being down with only 76 runs scored. The later batsmen, however, improved matters, and the innings was declared with eight wickets down for 195 runs. H. Jenner scored a vigorous 39, and J. B. Parker, H. T. O. Smith, E. A. Krarup, and S. F. Mills all topped the twenty mark.

Our opponents were helpless against H. T. O. Smith's fast bowling, being dismissed for only 43 runs.
