Batting on the first evening of this match, our opponents found run scoring a difficult task against accurate bowling and fielding, and eventually declared with the score at 120 for 9 wickets.

On the following evening the Bank batted in a very poor light, and could only score 105 runs for the loss of six wickets, J. B. Parker carrying his bat for a patient 42 not out.
