Skilful bowling by our opponents kept the Bank batsmen on the defensive, but a declaration was made when eight wickets were down with 166 runs on the score-board. E. A. Krarup (41) played a fine forcing innings, and J. R. F. Williams (29), H. T. O. Smith (22), and F. W. Stansfield 21 not out) all batted steadily.

Our opponents scored 101 for 9 wickets, the ninth wicket falling with the last ball of the match. G. H. Masters was in good form with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 28 runs, and T. R. Kirkpatrick bowled his "wily ones" to the total discomfiture of three batsmen and our wicket-keeper.
